"I’m starting to understand what I’m transmitting , what I’m translating in my art. They are the concepts of interconnectivity, oneness, different levels or dimensions, different perceptions of our being, of reality. We are all one, but we are not the same and even within each of us there are so many layers and so many different spectrums, and dimensions. I can’t really truly comprehend it, I don't try to, but there is that perception of it that I am able translate into colors and forms." To see the whole post click here.
It's funny how I used to express the same notions (a long time ago) that we are all one, in a different form, by painting people in different colors. Talking about diversity and oneness. I guess that is one of my messages to give or to express. The other day I read this: "We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter the color. " #MayaAngelou . I was happy to find someone putting into words what I was trying to say all along with my art.
